Can I delete people from my public challenge?
By Andrea Owens 6 months ago
We are doing a step challenge for our company, and it is set up as "Public" but we only want our employees to join. There have been a few random people (not with our company) who have joined the challenge. Can I delete them?

Maryellen,

That's why we have one of the most flexible platforms, giving you an option of creating public or private contests;)

Public contests are created by our users that love to engage with the community. If you do not want others to join your fitness challenge, you can always create a private competition:)

Hi, Andrea!

Thanks for reaching out.

No, you cannot.

You set your contest as private or public while creating it.

I recommend you create a new contest.

I can remove the public one from your system, so it doesn't confuse your team.

Cheers,
Zara

Zara,

We are having the same issue. We originally created a private team battle, but employees could only be added by email. So we created a public one that they can join easily. Why can't they just request to join and be approved, like with private groups?
