What Do You Think Of Workout Challenges?
By Zara 2 years ago

Hey, guys!

We are thinking about adding workout challenges and competitions.

Say, you want to complete a 14-day yoga or a 30-day squats challenges, or run/cycle/swim/play tennis for at least 30 min per day.

What do you think about this idea?

Currently, most fitness devices don't automatically track and recognise different fitness routines (yoga, cycling, jogging, pilates, etc.). Thus, we see it as manual logging. We won't be able to prevent cheating but at least people will be able to track their own battles.

Great idea. I agree with Stephanie Rouse, how would this be entered?

I love the idea! But whether I actually get much use out of it might depend on how the data is meant to be entered. Manually entered on inKin? Pulled in from wearables/bike computers? Read in from other sites like MyFitnessPal?

I like the idea - problem would be how to track the workouts with the different wearable's. Some fitness wearables also track stairs so this could also be a nice challenge.

I love it. It would be perfect for motivation, and is exactly what I would seek from this kind of platform.
